El Yucateco XXXtra Hot Kutbil-ik Mayan Style Habanero Hot Sauce is made from an 'original Mayan recipe' in Mexico, and is full of fiery habaneros. This is a serious hot sauce, often considered a 10 on a 1-10 scale by serious chili-heads.
- 11,600° on the Scoville scale - We rescued this recipe from the culinary traditions of the ancient Mayan civilization, hence the name “Kutbil-Ik” - a Mayan word meaning “crushed chili”.
- Ingredients: Habanero Pepper, Vinegar, Tomato, Salt, Spices, 0.1% Sodium Benzoate (preservative).
